"So, what exactly is a Master Gardener, anyway?" is a question we as MG's always get asked.
A Master Gardener is a volunteer trained by a University of Wisconsin Extension Horticultural Specialist who provides a service to their community by assisting people in addressing their horticultural problems. Master Gardeners are also required to maintain a minimum number of volunteer hours and complete continuing education credits to maintain their certification.
